Reed Financial Planning takes privacy and the protection of clients and staff data very seriously. On 25th May 2018, a new Europe-wide data protection regulation comes into effect: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The new regulation seeks to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union and grants new and enhanced rights for individuals in relation to their personal information.
Reed Financial planning have always attached the highest priority to the security of our clients information and will continue to do so going forward. Reed Financial Planning has been actively working to implement the changes required to be ready for the new regulation.
What is the impact on you?
The Reed Financial Planning Client Agreement and Service Proposition has been updated to reflect the new data protection legislation. We also have new ‘Customer Privacy Notice’ & ‘E-marketing customer consent forms’, which we will be providing to all clients during future review meetings with John Reed.
